A 25 year old man complains of frequency, urgency, and dysuria for 3 days. He is otherwise asymptomatic. There is no history of urinary calculi.

He returned from Egypt 2 months ago, where he swam in the Nile and consumed unboiled water.

His medical, surgical and family histories are unremarkable.

CT scan of Abdomen & Pelvis

The CT Scan reveals multiple small calcifications along both ureters and the bladder.
Schistosoma Serology

Performed

Positive for antischistosomal antibodies.
